Abstract
Assesses the optimization of GAC to remove trihalomethane precursors (to attain finished water THM concentration of 1 - 20 µg/L), based on modeling, bench-scale, and pilot-plant experimentation. Evaluates the economics of the process by developing cost estimates for six participating utilities. Published in 1989.
