Abstract
This set of two reports examines a wide range of issues related to anaerobic digester (AD) foaming, with a focus on studying foaming in full-scale water resource recovery facilities (WRRFs) in the U.S. The reports include a literature review, plant survey, and findings from full-scale studies and highlight research needs and gaps to better understand and control AD foaming in WRRFs.
